That's 'away' to do it
So it’s away we go literally for the next three games; a real test of team spirit and strength.
First up is Millwall at the New Den; I was there the season we got promoted and I have to say we weren't only beaten by the Millwall team that night but also the atmosphere from the South London fans.
Danny Shittu had a bit of a nightmare; he played against his former club and was shown a straight red card as he took out a Millwall player who was heading for the QPR goal.
I can't see that happening again this season; the key has to be our defence. They are drilled by the coaches and drilled again; they all know the job they need to do and I'm sure they will stick to it.
The full backs or wing backs, as some are calling them, could be vital.
In Danny Simpson I see a lot of ex QPR favourite David Bardsley and current England International Kyle Walker. Up and down the line throughout the game but always knowing his first job is to defend.
On the opposite side Assou-Ekotto is doing the same; both players firm in the knowledge that Messrs Hill and Dunne will be on hand till they come back from further up the field.
I'm hoping attacking wise there is more to come from the Spurs loanee: Harry's called him 'the best left back in the Premier League', of course he's good but as yet I haven't seen that in the opposition half.
A week after the Millwall game we go to Turf Moor for a top of the table clash with Burnley where all eyes will be on a certain Charlie Austin. After a slow start the former Claret is finding the net. I'm confident he'll score over twenty goals this season; how he handles himself at his former club should be interesting to see.
Then we have yet another away game at Wigan; I think European football is more of a hindrance than a bonus for them.
I'd like to see us come away with at least seven points from a possible nine.
If Rob Green and the defence still have the clean sheet record intact after these games they really will be legends.
First up Millwall; I think we have more than enough in the locker to be able to tame the lions.
